There was a 4DR that was re-listed twice on ebay last week and that passed in at 3900

$5950 what do you guys think? 200k on the clock, I think it's ambitious.

Keep in mind any 2 door MK2 in Aus is a personal import, being a small bumper may also command a higher price.
Not to mention any euro spec MK2, particularly a 16v would slaughter and an aussie delivered MK2 performance wise.

2 doors don't come up very often.

Realistically, it's a crappy old imported hatchback, that probably runs like a bag of bolts and needs a full respray, rust work, and lots of TLC.

BUT, to us. it's a 2 door. At the end of the day, it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay.

For 6K, I'd be hoping that it came with a RWC and some rego, that's just IMO.

As jarred said, there's work to be done.. White cars are very deceptive in photos, you can't see scratches etc.
at the moment it's at $6K, but I reckon someone could get it for $5000-$5500..
If it was a 16V, $6K is cheap!!!!

agree on the above, ...would probly not sell for £800 in the uk but beggars cant be choosers. I was once a recent proud owner of a aussie spec mkII when a prospective buyer for my old car casualy remarked that it wasnt a real GTI because it was a four door. It was shattering and replayed in my mind 1000's of times till i sold it ..he was right

yeh good job man, i seriously considered it, but im in nsw, so having to get it here, then pass a blue slip, and buy 12 months ctp and rego, was turning it into a 7000 stock mk2, that i would probably spend another 3000 on. not good. haha
