Volkswagen Golf MK1 GLI | Cars | Gumtree Australia Hume Area - Tullamarine

    Nice project.

Looks like its had the roof lining re-done.

Are they mk1 seats and steering wheel?? Look the same as the ones I had in an Mk2, but then this is a later Mk1 than ones that are normally around.

Seats are from a MK2, wheel & dash are correct for a MK1. Just a later GTI wheel which was also used in early MK2's.

Rest of the car looks really good, doesn't need much doing to it.

Its later than 1980 and an import at that.
        Looks very good!
Why is it still for sale ?????
        Seems like everybody wants one.
        So don't miss out.

1600 engine, aftermarket air con . ( factory never produced RHD aircon ) Prob about an 82 unless the engine has been swapped or rear tail lights hacked in .
                Lots of MK 1 Scirocco's...

If it aint a MK 1 then it must be a donor car ??

                Cheers,
                Grant...

Aussies say 4 door, pom's say 5dr......And I have had to use the 5th door (boot) on occassion when my alarm & central locking failed on a de-locked Mk 3 GTi.

Haha. I actually must have misread the title of your thread, I thought it said 3 door and then I saw the pics and realised it was a 4/5 door. I think I need to get my eyes checked If it was a 2-door I would be thinking seriously about buying it!
