Looks clean and low mileage as well:

I would seriously consider buying this if I still lived in NSW:

    @ this:

A very rare Golf GTI MK2 for sale i spent more then $9000 | Cars | Gumtree Australia Strathfield Area - Strathfield

First one looks nice, good value with that mileage but this quote made me laugh Car is well-suited for almost any driver from car enthusiasts looking for a unique and exhilarating drive

The 16v has been up for sale for a while, shocked no one has bought it yet, especially at that price.

    That last one.....
    What's going on here??

and what the F is on the parcel shelf??

this car is very rare and so powerful. it has a GTi 8V engine. Bit of a contradiction there

'now this car has nothing as heater or air conditioning and u should know why buy now.' I'm buying NOW!

$7500 - I'm sure this guy made a mistake with the price. For $750.00 maybe. I'm gonna give him a call. I want the rear parcel shelf and the blue water bottles.

Quite sad to see the condition of this really. The car has 63XXXkms on it. It should be mint.

Maybe the owner of the black GTI likes Back to the future and tried to make the car look like a Dolorean?

Shame about the abuse these car get...

I'm looking at buying the 16v, although im worried that it isn't acually a GTI, but a standard Mk2 converted to the GTI's 16v.
This is due to the lack of GTI badges, no interior photos and no red 16v door badges.. there appears to be only the one 16v badge on the front, that could have been aftermarket..

                        Thoughts?

It's a legit GTI, a South African one. They had different trim levels and badging to the German ones.

It looks nice and is very cheap for a 16v.

I've seen the car in person and even looks at the books, its absolutely legit 16V, i can vouch for it. Needs body repair and a clean up of the interior to see if there might be any extensive damage, but it goes. really fast.
