it will always be remembered as john's mk2! used to have an 8v in it, he killed the interior with the "drift" seats....

the digifiz isnt the rare one... you can get the 7k RPM tacho's in germany for 100euro..... try find the 8k RPM one for under 500euro...

and i dont see over 25k ontop of what he bought the car for.......

i agree. knowing what the car looked like before this guy got it... i don't see how HE has spent 25K on it, maybe overall.
and yeah Digifiz isn't rare, you just have to import one, and figure out how to put the f****** thing in.

still, it could an awesome car.
just slam some 16" RS's on and electric recaro's in

Yup I'll always remember it as John's car!

Loon did the VR and dash conversion on this car (spent some time getting the dash working I think!), looks great apart from those crap seats. OEM recaro's ftw.

I dont see how he spent 25k on it either. The ad doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I don't think its engineered ether........

Wow he did spend some coin on it. Loon did an awsome job with the VR conversion and the dash set-up.

John had it resprayed, then LowVeeDub put the stance of it, then some blome with a R31 had it and now thw current owner.

              Doing the rounds.

It's very nice, but small doors and big bumpers

Is it being sold by a dealer because surely the person who built it would get the details right and it has no RWC.

                  how does mk2 handle with a vr6?

yeah $25k is possible if u pay someone to do all the work for you. I'm guessing here but Loon would have charged 10K+ for the drive in drive out conversion and add a bit more for the dash and brakes.

Didn't whats his face import a G60 for less that the asking price?

Check out the cars in the back ground, new Camaro, Ferrari Itallia, E65 AMG, Aston Martin, M3, Lotus......what the hell is a mk2 doing there.

They handle fine. You just arrive at a corner a bit quicker

                        ....Astra Convertible

It costs about the same to import one but it's far more hassle to get it here & register it than to just buy one from Victoria.

Apart from the dodgey ad and incorrect info, I think that this car is well worth it.

                          This is why:
                          mk 2 2 door
Fresh respray, with plenty of new trim
                          Mad wheels and suspension
                          VR6 Conversion.

That's a great combo there, and a few personal touches and it'd be perfect.

Pity about the lack of rego and engineers cert. Bit of a risk for the buyer.

If someone can spend 25k on it,it may be worth 25k for someone.
Going back to the old say, it is worth the money someone is willing to pay for it.
Saying that you did not spend that money on yours, but you would love if someone will pay that money for your mk2 vr6 Jarred.
This car is wayyy toooo expensive for me.

nope, I didn't spend even close to 25K on mine.

Mine will be for sale soon though. Already have a very interested buyer. Just need to finish it off, get eng cert etc.
