No clues to prove it's a 16v, looks like a stock Aussie 8v.

Despite the milage it's still a bit of a steep price, i'd be a bit suspect of the mechanicals due it being stored for so long & no RWC. Looks like front arch extension is dislodged too. Possible damage?

why not? depends what u used to i guess...my work has moved since few months back so im suddenly travelling 20km on the freeway to work (and 20 back) my weekend car has suddenly become my daily (slammed 72 beetle). Im seriously considering buying a mk2 or cupra...my livers have had enough...suspension would be a luxury

its not a valver.. owner just doesn't know that there is an 8v version

the most common time i drive my car is in peak hour traffic for half an hour each way on my way to school haha so I'm not sure i could daily a mark 2 haha

I did that, for 1 year, with popo stiff suspension, although a Bora would be substantially comfier

Tacho redline is at 6,300 (easiest way to tell its not a valver?)
