I got 13x6.5 hotwires on front and have about 5mm clearence from rim to caliper.

How much better are they for clearance? Wish I knew this sooner lol.

ALOT better, the actual caliper is slimmer and the pads are bigger.
i wouldnt be able to fit my rims on front if i had standard calipers.

Audi 80 callipers are even better than GTI callipers for clearance to the back side of the spokes and fit over the same ventilated disc.
