A KM1's Primary purpose shifted a long time ago, now they are no longer daily drivers, This one is an awesome base for a project. I wish our VW scene was twice as big as it is now. Someone would have snapped it up whilst the cars are still around and can be put in garages, made into awesome respectful projects, driven on the weekends, brought out at hillclimbs and track days and drooled over at meets
. Judging by the number of hits vwwatercooled is getting lately that day might be just around the corner

Well maybe its primary purpose hasnt completely changed but its along way from being the old ladies car to take to the supermarket isnt it. , BUT I think we do want more people in the scene, bigger shows more cars done up... when you see mini meets their is always tons and tons of them and that was just what i used to see in TAS.
Hey you are absolutley right about being able to Beat on it and driving it like you stole it
