Did anyone else contact this guy.
I did and he sent me an email saying he is now working for seat in Spain and the car is located in Darwin.
He also said that he wants to finalize the deal through eBay.
I asked if I could get a mechanic in Darwin to look over the car but he said that he wasn't able to as the car is in storage and if I wasn't happy with it he would supply a refund and pay for shipping.
I googles his email address and it showed him also selling a vw beetle on craigslist.
I clicked on the ad but it was flagged and deleted. His ad with this gti is also deleted from carsales.
It just seems a little odd and I'm not sure where to go from here.
Any advice? -
if it sounds dodgy, it is......I just took a punt and bought another fleabay car from an ebay virgin last night (ie: 0 feedback) but he and all the others who've seen the car gave me piece of mind it was genuine...and there will be no cash exchange, until the goods (in person) match the description..Originally posted by MICAH View Post
