My hail damaged jetta going to auction 14/july 2010

As per my previous e mail,my beloved Jetta is going to be auctioned by Pickles now on the 14th of July.
This car was fantastic,and in immaculate condition...with a full VW service history.

It has done 55600 kilometers,and is a MY07 2.0 FSI petrol,non turbo model in Reflex Silver,and tiptronic.

Would make an awesome buy for someone,hope it goes to a good home...

It is at Pickles,and reg no was ULD532.

How much did it go for?

No idea,as I could not leave work to get to the auction.
Retail value was 25000,Pickles guessed it would go for 40 percent less,so approximately 15000.

I hope it goes to a good home...now waiting for the 2011 Jetta 6...may change my new Euro over to one,as I love it,but miss vw,and all of you guys too much.

I have a suspicion it is now on ebay - guy on there is selling a large no. of cars, I'm sure Vic Roads would be interested given he is not an LMCT..

For 13000 fixed it sounds like a bargain ???

The advertiser is selling 12 hail damaged/repaired cars,including a 2010 Golf .

I might go and check my car out,to see how well its been repaired.

Went to see it today with my brother,as he is thinking of buying it for a suprise for my niece...

OH...thats the thing.

It has NOT been repaired ,although the ad said it has been...

My brother feels that we know the car,I was paid out $25000 for it,and for my niece,it will be far superior than any other $13000 car.

However,we should have bought it at auction.

I am sure it would have gone for about $10000.

What irritates me is that this guy will make at least $3000.

He has tinted the windows...lol.

There will be no problem registering it,however we are just trying to find out if we are able to insure it.

I am just not sure what we should do.If it had been repaired,we would have bought it immediatly,and brought it home yestorday.

Sounds fishy what the seller is doing.

If it says its fixed and its not thats false advertising.
