Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Another South Africa Mk2 !!

    All of a sudden, many SA Mk2 in carsales & gumtree

    This one looks a bit tire though, 337K in the clock.

        that was for sale in Penrith a while back...think the guy sold it and now is back up for sale again with a different owner.

          Yup we service this.

          The car goes hard, everything on it has been replaced. Motor is a little bit tired, but still fast.

          It has lots of new parts on it and the owner has taken it on a club vee dub track day.
          Dont worry about the ks, drive it and enjoy it.

          Interior is tidy and half leather
          It has the S.A engine with massive valves and cam. Kjet system is working and has had a new pump recently.

          The current owner is a mature owner and has spent heaps to bring it up to scratch.

          Eric, this is the car we were talking about at the Nats, not the silver one

            I've tested drive both, the silver one run better definitely due to its younger engine. but I was one day late (sold)
            Yes this one look nicer, with big bumper conversion, on the other hand it has rust at the rear end.
