Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    I do seem to recall this one being posted up a long time ago, that's for sure.

    I reckon it's worth a look! big valve SA head, Kjet, small bumpers, what's not to like! I dont even mind the paint, and the interior and dash look pretty good too!

        too many doors and not enough valves to get super excited, but very clean nontheless!

          Ha my old one went to JayJay via a circuitous route.

          This one is a good car, we service and maintain it at the shop and it is in exceptional condition for a S.A Car.

          Has half leather seats and the big valve head. Kjet has been recently tuned and car goes great.

                    I visited the car today, did half an hour test drive in Southern Highland, the car is great, drive hard, body is clean. Nice colour, it isn't silver, some kind of goldish grey, very rare colour.

                    However it misses a yellow import compliance plate, is this something that need to be worried ?
