    I don't see how that's a write off. Looks like it only needs a few interior pieces like seats, carpet, maybe dash? Strange.

      Shame its an Auto, I thought I had found a donor for my 3 door then!!

        Why is it such a big problem, are the ECU's etc that different between the models?

          ECUs are the same mate.
          More the added cost of needing to find a manual gearbox, shifter, mounts and pedalbox.
          Much easier to find a donor car with everything you need.

                Not worth it mate, the transport for a non-runner from QLD is $700 or so, plus probably $1500+ to buy it. The Auto probably wont work and I still then need to buy lots of expensive manual parts. VR6 gearbox from ASV or similar will be $1500.

                I want a smashed manual one, interior and exterior unimportant. Not in a hurry, the 2 door has lots of rego.

                  Fair enough Matt, and by the looks of it the car doesn't really seem all that crash hot anyway.
