look like Gemini wheels to me. They need special bolts and the offset is wrong for a Golf.

that's what I thought too, but if they've come off a getz, wouldn't that have the standard jap offset of (roughly) +40 or something?

a gemini would be much closer to a zero or low offset.

I wonder if I should go try them on?

maybe they didn't fit his getz cause they were actually off a gemini, as matt alluded too before

just finally got through to the guy, he reckons he owns last years GETZ and they do fit on. the only suspect thing he said to me was that he got them from the car dealer where he bought the car..... but he bought them on ebay??? doe it matter that on a getz u use nuts to hole the wheel on and not the whole bolt like the golfs? sorry if that is a stupid question.

shouldn't be a problem, as long as you get the correct bolts with the right 'profile' to suit the bolt hole on the wheels (ie. the splay or angle of the bolt hole, if you know what I mean !)

yea Mark's right Mark (hehe) just have to make sure your bolts seat suit the type of bolt seat the wheels was made for. ie ball seat, taper seat etc etc.
