its about 15k to much though its still rough around the edges. Oh, and you'd think a site with such "prestigious" cars for sale could actually get their data entry right

Sorry mate i'm not all that clued up on older Audi's, whats wrong with their data entry? I did think it was a bit of a basic name for it, just 'Audi Quattro', i'm sure there are a few variants, what is this one?

You don't think they have prestige cars there either then? Have you ever had a look in there? I thought it looked like quite a nice place with some awesome, rare and interesting cars. I wouldn't mind having a look in there when i'm in Sydney next.

The prices do seem fairly high there, but alot of the cars are being sold on consignment so the prices on the cars are not decided by the CTS apparently, just the owners wanting a good return i guess.

I thought the CTS was one of Australia's best. They always have awesome and rare (for Australia) cars available.

As for the rough around the edges thing, original is always gonna be more valuable than restored.

Is basically what I'm trying to say, and what I'm saying is that a car yard which is apparently prestige driven, should really be more professional than the mistakes that add places.

They hold a significat premium throughout their model range, no doubt partly due to the number of staff and their diversity in range.

Rare Fulvia 1.3S seems reasonable at $27K

But $18K for a Lambretta takes the piss

Yeah the Bretta is a bit much!! Older ones fetch alot nowadays though, but this one is not exactly original anymore, it has a newer Piaggio motor in it for a start which is basically a Vespa - thats sacralige to a Scooter fan!! Really takes the character away from it, they've made a modern style twist and go disguised as an LI150, thats a waste in my eyes.
So yeah, if it was an original SX200 it maybe worth 18K.

The quattro looks pretty tidy to me.

The steering wheel and gear knob need a new home in the bin and the pipe under the bonnet needs replacing but otherwise looks like a genuine/honest car.

I like the little Lancia too.

3.2 is a typo , so dont be so critical. This is a legend man. Yes the wheels are dung beetle but this was an original 10v WR or MB and is a topper. A bit of shopping in the right places would have great wheels which are still available. Dont worry plenty things get bagged one here, im with you its a cool "old" car.
Im a sucker for the RR 20v having owned one but still cut my teeth on the 10v ones. A joy
                        Cheers

Is this different to a UR Quattro then Jimmy? Theres one on carsales for $17K, just wondering what the difference is? As i said i'm not all that clued up on them...

Na mate this is a UR ( original in German) Quattro. They stayed 10Valve till 1989 mate then the might RR cam out 20V for a couple of years. The WR that i cut my teeth on was 10v 2.2 along with MB which was a champ was 2.3 10v. The RR was 2.3 20v. The S2 which was another joy was the Coupe 2.3 20v slightly detuned version of the RR. First time i ever felt sick in a car was in an S2 after chipping and fitting wastegate spring. I was the poor apprentice doing the boost recording in the passenger seat looking down, the tech (mentor) was somewhere else when he was driving it so made for a pleasant trip
                            Ah the memories

ps they had the coupe out for many moons too but not flared, sometimes comes up for sale as a UR which is false

OK Jimmy thanks for that, starting to make sense! S2 sounds ridiculous!!

How about this one then, says its actually closer to a 2.1L, another thing i didn't know...

Same model as the CTS one? Looks great,
