that is actually pretty cool! very 90's but im a sucker for 90's styling, needs 2 tone color coded and black plastic bumpers and a eyebrow spoiler and its cheeseball 90's OUT!!! BEST!
I reckon this is the running gear from Grunmk1's old 4 door, I heard someone got that car and was putting it in a 2 door. The engine setup looks the same to me, Loon got taken for a run in it, he said it was bonkers.
76 MkI 3 door - daily drive/project - 1.8 5speed
76 MkI 3 door swallowtail - 16v track car
76 MkI 3 door "long term" project
Ive met this guy a couple of times now ive brought parts from him and my mate sold him that 2 door shell that was rust free! depending on the quality of the paint job would depend if its worth the cash or not
If this had rego in NSW with an engineers cert. i would def pick this up. i considered getting the old green 4 door when it was for sale a few years back. now its even better with only 2 doors.

When I sold this setup in the 4-door it had a NSW-legal engineers certificate and 12 months rego. That certificate won't be relevant anymore with the new chassis number unfortunately. Maybe the engineer would re-engineer what is effectively the same setup for a cheaper price but I wouldn't count on it.
When I got the engineers cert it was a great feeling driving around knowing it was completely legal. I was starting to get paranoid flicking the switch because the noise nearly doubled with the supercharger on
