They've had heaps of them come on e-bay in 5x100. I actually think that's the poor design from Miro, they have a BBS LM look-alike that are off the charts. The below link is not 5 stud but it's the LM look.

I reckon you're spot on there! if they charged high prices people would just pay the bit extra and get the real thing.

Those Miros, they're not multi-piece? That said though, they still look good, and they're awesome fitment for the Mk3.

just my philopshy that you spend big on a good brand of wheels, they are the only thing keeping you and your ride from serious injusry or death. I just like to know the wheels im getting are top draw, I could be wrong though. I guess its like putting linglong tires on your car IMO why do you bother? u might as well just runs bald tires and prep for the worst.

OEM rims are not designed to last either, they're made for cost effectiveness through economies of scale and often with a rather mediocre metal quality to reduce costs. There is a reason why EVO's come with Enkei's and BBS wheels as standard...

Think of it this way, if these wheels were unsafe the manufacturer would have a several million dollar law suit against them if the individual was in an accident and they could prove that the failure of the wheels were the cause of the accident.

Its really that bad, I work in litigation...
