Yeah it depends how it's been looked after.

I had a really nice example of a 1997 Audi A4 quattro, but the km still turned people off that hadn't seen the car. Parts usually need replacing after 120k but if you get one with more than that they have probably been replaced already.

Don't think anybody is disputing the fact that an R32 is a bloody good car..its just this one thats for sale for $30K and has done 160,000ks, which seems a bit 'toppish' in price...especially when there are other available for a little bit more coin and with much lower kms on the clock

It's an unfortunate thing that the amount of km's sway people regardless of anything else. It's true that higher km's are only bad if the car has been maltreated or if it's just been overworked, but for something that has been engineered in such a way I don't think you could go wrong with a well treated one no matter how many km's you've got.

              ...It still won't change people's mindsets/price offers though...lol.

The market will tell him it's too expensive if it doesn't sell.. 30k is a bit too much for a car with those km but not exactly sure what they are worth. MK4 R32's seem to hold their value very well..

Also depends how it's been looked after as mentioned above.
