Yeah but I dont miss masssive insurance premiums on anything over a 1.3L, freezing cold sideways rain and RUST so intensive that you can peel the side of a car off.

If you add AU $5k to those prices, you can import one and comply it.

Yeah, everyone keeps telling me about the UK weather and I know I would last around 5 mins but hey... the awesome cars... there have to be some with little rust. If all else fails, NZ is the way to go. My sister now lives in Auckland so it could mke it easier.

Only if its newer than 1989. Pre 88 has no restrictions.

Yeah dont miss having to pee on the lock so i could get in the car!!!!! dig my way in to watch the snow plough fill it back in!!!!! 2x 1.5 litre bottles of G11 filled up with hot water stuffed doen the overalls to keep warm and then work on these great cars, spanner slips and wish someone had cut off your arm as the pain would bring a tear to a glass eye. Spend days replacing metal brake pipes as they are so corroded, nothing comes off. Mate we really are in the right country Im proud of where i originate but wouldnt swap this for the world.
