The detonation mechanism for the MK5 airbag is different to that of the MK4, for starters. I also have a MK4 and prefer to have a MK4 steering wheel. I prefer the look of it too in comparison to the MK5 wheel. The MK6 wheel is nice, but we're back to problem number one with that.
