Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • QLD Mk1 golf seat rail crossmember

    Hi,

I'm chasing a rust free passenger side seat rail crossmember for my Mk1 Golf. I've had to replace the passenger side floor and the crossmember is quite rusty so I would like to replace it as well.

My preference is to come and look at the part while it's still in the car and then cut it out myself, as I need the complete member right down to the floor. I'm happy to come and look at anything in the Brisbane or Gatton/Toowoomba areas.

I've attached a couple of photos to show which part I need and the condition of the one I currently have (which has already been removed from the car).

    Thanks!

Working...
