Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    SOLD WTB (SYD) 18" Tallagedas - black

    Hi all,

    After a set of 18" Tallagedas in black to suit a Mk6 GTI (I beleive the Scirocco ones have the wrong offset).

    Wheels only. Straight with no kerb rash please. Will consider replicas at the right price (considering they are $999 new fitted).

    The Mk6 Talladegas were only available from the factory in black in the 19" size - 18" were all the standard silver.

    I'd suggest you pick up a cheap set of 18s (there are a few floating around available on the forum now), and have them painted (and touched up if required at the same time).

      Really? I didnt realise that.

      In the past I've seen a few advetised as genuine in black. The genuine ones are 7.5"as opposed to 8" reps...possible that they've been painted, which is an option I guess. Depends how much it will cost.
