I'm chasing 2x Golf R wheels in Black (18 inch). Must be in good condition, I don't need tires but happy to discuss.

Also the rims need to be original equipment (not a replica/copy)

Weren't OEM black Talladegas only in 19 locally?

Correct. Black oem only came in 19".

not sure, but i have 18 inch wheels on the vehicle and appear to be factory painted black... found out today that 2 are damaged, so this is why i need replacements.

Did any golf R's come out with 19 inch wheels ?? was it an option ??

In Australia the 18s were silver only, whereas the 19s were available in both silver and black. Cars with 19s ex factory had a slightly different steering rack and some plastic extensions to keep it ADR compliant.

A black set of 18s if identified as OEM were probably painted after-market.

Shouldn't be hard to track down a set of 18s and if you want the black look again not overly expensive to sort out - good luck.
