TAS WTB Golf MK4 1.8t + gearbox and ancilliaries

Hi all,

Looking to replace my 1.6sr with a 1.8t engine - have come into some gearbox issues with the current motor so I guess this is the push I needed. If anyone knows of someone with a decent mk4 1.8t motor and gearbox for sale I would greatly appreciate if you could point them in my direction or me in the direction of them. Will need to organise freight to Hobart (TAS) also.

Thats a lot of work and cost to change over a 1.6 to a 1.8t.Much easier to sell your car and put the money into a real GTI.
