Even if i could loan one from someone in Sydney to trace out and make a wood one.

Ask yourself why do VW make theirs from pressed cardboard full of holes ?

In a rear end crash it would potentially crumple and not chop someone in half. But in a hypothetical crash, anyone in the rear of my cabby with only lap seatbelts is dead either way /shrug
