Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC WTB - 100mm Driveshafts (mk1)

    Hey guys, after mucking around for the past few months with a fellow forum member who still hasn't sent off the driveshafts I've paid for and also wasted cash on a courier for, I have given up and am on the scout for some more.

    The driveshafts I'm after will be the last piece of the puzzle for my 5speed swap, therefore I'm requiring 100mm inner CVs to mate up to the 5sp box, so I'm essentially after some Cabby driveshafts or any other driveshafts people may have already modified to suit 100mm CVs.

    Anything would be great, happy to pickup or organise a courier - so long as you don't go MIA like Michael Clarke (Mk1@4Motion)

    I'm pretty sure I have a spare set of standard drive shafts that have been machined on the inner spline area to accept 100mm inner CVs. I definitely have 1 set which I wanted to keep as spares, but I'll just have to double-check if I have the second set. I'm in Sydney though, is it going to be worth your while with postage?

      Hey bud, i have been working 18hr days the last two and a half months. So I really do appologize for not sending them yet. I had my first days off over the weekend and just about slept it all away. You did say you are not in a massive hurry but would like to get them to you so you atleast have them. I
