In desperate need of a mk1 golf intake and carby as mine have a vacuum leak and it's doing my head in! Plus, it's the ugliest home bodge job in history haha. If anyone has a spare just lying around let us know and shoot us a pm

Have both these items cluttering my workshop.

I'm currently running a solex 34 pict 5 or whatever the standard ones were. I'm taking the car to a mechanic today to see if they can figure out it's issue, but I may still want a new carb after all anyway haha.

The current intake has a home made adaptor plate and it literally looks like someone bit the hole it in.

Roccodingo, what weber/dellorto do you have? Is it a down draft for a passat manifold, or a side draft? I have a couple of dellorto side drafts lying around at home, but would need a lynx manifold to get them to work.

Wouldn't happen to have a lynx manifold would you? Haha

I've have one from an 1.6 gls. carby was tuned prior to engine being removed.

Ok, will get you a couple of pics later today with what model carb it is. Will also look for the box of solex carbs I have around the joint ( if they hav'nt been binned already )
