some parts needed for a mk4 gti in QLD

Hi guys,
I just purchased myself a 2003 mk4 gti and it needs some attention.

I have discovered the front shock on the driver side in particular feels to have died..(bobs up and down like a boat over speed humps was the giveaway and i can bounce it by hand)

Does anybody have some stock struts kicking around they want to get rid of?(the car is stock as a rock)

Also I am chasing a set of good condition grab handles, the wood on mine are stuffed and the driver side front is broken up pretty bad from use.

There is a strange bar that runs across the top of the parcel shelf, the end cap is missing on the driver side (i will have to take a photo as I am not sure what it is for)

Hey Brenden,

I have stock 02' A3 8L 1.8T suspension which would be basically identical to the Mk4 GTI suspension if you are interested? I was only looking for $100 for the entire front and rear shocks/springs. Located on the Gold Coast too

Yeah no worries, they are the same platform as far as I am aware. I have bought a lot of Mk4 parts for my A3 without hassle. Only difference could be the spring rates however you can always re-use your stock springs if need be
