  • ACT 20V mounts...

    Hey guys,

I need to find mounts for my conversion into a Mk1. I have a APY 1.8T 20V with an AWD gearbox which is my project and can't seem to find the gearbox code so I can't find the right mounts for the engine and gearbox combo...

    Need help please.

I havn't looked for a while, but you should be able to pick these up from the UK/EU off ebay etc.
Otherwise - wait, are you putting AWD into your mk 1, or changing to a FWD gearbox?

        ahh.

Good luck. Probably going to have to do some customs stuff on the gearbox side. the RHS (engine side) you should be able to buy off ebay (as I mentioned above) Not sure if there are any off the shelf mounts for AWD.

I am looking at getting mounts from them. Just trying to figure out if the set in your link will suite my AWD gearbox... @Jarred

That website looks to have some nice mounts there. Not cheap though.

Looks like they have mounts to suit. (O2M). Not sure if it's to suit an AWD swap though. it would be worth emailing them to double check.

I'd look at using a later model dog bone style mount for the rear mount aka gldgti's in his diesel cabby.

You might be better off just making your own.

The off the shelf ones I got had to be modified to fit properly anyway.
