Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA RNS-510 or RCD-510 Head unit

    Im after a RNS-510 or RCD-510 Head unit with a Reverse Camera port at the back so the product number on the back of the unit must end in 190A (not 190B)
    Not in a hurry, and no i dont want to take part in the 176 page Group buy disaster in the for sale section of this forum! haha
    I can send u a post bag, or u can post it for me, bring by camel or i can come fetch if ur lucky enough to live near freo.
    Im a direct debit'r or a pay cash'r not a pay pal'r if that is an issue.

    Do you realize the correct camera costs a lot more than an RCD, like up to $600 for the round VW boot release version.

    I went through the exercise and when it got up over $800 I gave it away.

    Cheaper if you are using the numberplate light camera

      Hi Paul,

      I have an RCD510 without the A or B, but it does have the camera plug....

      Chasing $300 for it, but haven't had a chance to put it on Gumtree or eBay yet...

      Complete with pin code, and in Melbourne
