  • QLD Passat R36 DSG Shiftknob

Hi, I'm looking for a replacement Gear Knob for my 2008 DSG R36. The chrome has started peeling off the selector on the factory one.

I've been told it comes as a single unit with the leather boot and chrome surround:

You can buy the nob separately but not OEM R36, Audi ones are available online for just over $100US plus delivery depending on style.

Thanks gazzmo, I'll checkout the Audi options - good idea.

I was quoted $657 by the local VW dealership (as it comes as the entire unit).. The part number for the US (LHD) version is: 3C1-713-203-P XRU , but I've struggled to find it online for RHD. Here's where I found the part number - VWVortex.com - FS: Passat R36 DSG Shiftknob

It's just a little bit of chrome missing off the top, so I may just try repairing it first.

I don't think there is a difference between LHD and RHD with the front select button, the side select button of course is different being on the opposite side.
