Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • TAS 14" Wheels 4x100

Need to clear the mk1's defect. I have decided to purchase another set of wheels to run instead of using the current ones which are giving me endless trouble.

Let me know what you have. I will consider 15" wheels also but prefer 14s. My budget is approx $1000 inc freight to Tassie which I can easily organise. I will pay more if tyres are included.

I have some Mk3 steelies myself which I am (one day) going to hopefully widen them. They need a bit of work and I dont think its worth putting new tyres on them just to be taken off again. Otherwise I would use them! Thanks.

PM replied, I can also offload the Aluline turbine in page 3 of my WhiteMk2Gti thread. I want to reduce to one set of wheel for my Mk2.
