Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Hey guys, My K03 Turbo has Blown on my Peugeot 207 GT. I have retrieved the Part number from the Turbo and it is 5303-970-0112, from an Audi A3 1.8TFSI. Can anyone put me in the right direction of where i can get one, ebay, etc, or if anyone has one of these Turbos it would be great

    Many thanks

Took some of the pipes off, oil in the pipes, turbine wheel moving around, its blown!!!

I would like to get a direct placement, all numbers matching up, so i dont have to worry about any fitment, tuning issues, etc. K03 Turbos are easy to get, im just not sure if can get any K03 and chuck it on, good to go?

There's always oil in the pipes, from the breather system. How much movement in the shaft? Has it become laggy?

Done more research, the turbo had been replaced by a new version with the number 5303 988 0136, which is form another new Audi, for now it looks like it will just be better to get a brand new turbo to plug and play, rather then getting the current one rebuilt for only a few hundred less
