Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW WTB: RNS-510 or similar for R32 MK5

    Hi all,

    Since we all know how 'great' the search function is on forums (said no one ever), im looking at grabbing a RNS unit for my R32 Mk5.

    Currently have the sat nav unit, and was looking for the RNS-510 - unless there is a better version out there?

    also, anyone know where I can get it installed?

    Is there a forum member that does a whole 'buy and install' package? surellllllly?

    Liqiudforce does them for around $1300 Buy a top model Tomtom and save $1000 and have a better unit
