So unfortunately my day has gotten worse after walking out to a flat tyre, but then after putting the spare on and preparing to take a trip to the tyre joint, I find a nice crack on the inside of my wheel

Before I prepare the Vaseline and call the dealer for a replacement, I thought I might just see if anyone out there happens to have one they wish to part with?

I'm in Melbourne, but can arrange transport.

Not sure as it was 11:58am when I found it and all of the VW dealer parts departments close at midday here. I have read some eye gouging prices referred to in the past though

I've used a very reputable wheel repair place here in Melbourne in the past for fixing gutter rash and I know they can repair cracked rims too, though i'm not sure how comfortable i'd feel with that.
