So my front left CXRacing coilover has gone. I've contacted them several times but am getting nowhere. At the moment I have my stock suspension back in the front, but I'm in desperate need for a pair of front coils OR a front left CXRacing coil. Or maybe a set of struts and lowered springs or something that will give me a 60-80mm drop in the front. Anyone has any of that or know where I can pick it up cheaply would be great. Thanks.

I can't get pics ATM, but it's not a blown shock, it's the top threaded bit so it doesn't actually sit in the car anymore.

After I raised it I'd been getting a knocking noise so I took it out and had a look, the nut that holds the big rubber bushing in had been jerked up destroying the thread and becoming a little loose.

Maybe I can get the thread retapped or whatever it's called?

I'll keep contacting them for sure.

That is from incorrect installation. Bugger!

Yeah I'm not gonna deny that it'd be the case. I guess you gotta learn somewhere though! Sucks but ah well.

S**t happens. Annoying you can't buy a single or pair from CXRacing though!

Just got stock back in and my alignment is so out of whack right now I'm scared to drive it haha. Couple hundred out of pocket, but won't happen again!

Get a shop to run a die over it to clean up / ad thread and get some new nuts that fit the thread. Until that's sorted run your stock setup? Should be an easy and cheap job if you don't trust yourself to do it.

Yeah. Hopefully I can get that done. Know any local places that would do stuff like that?
