SA Intercooler Pipping MK5 GTI/Jetta

I have a bent or incorrect intercooler pipe on my MK5 jetta turbo (petrol). As your looking at the car its the bottom left hand pipe.

For some reason the pipe that is a VW part is either twisted or not the correct one. The groves on on both ends of the pipe run vertical, which match the intercooler end but not the engine side which run horizontal.

I'm not sure how to upload a picture on this forum but have taken one to explain a little better.
