VIC need 16" tyres

Looking for a set of 16" tyres for my mk4 gti wheels.

i would consider the following dimensions:


195/45
195/40

if anyone has a second hand set, or knows of a reasonably cheap place to try, let me know!

if iv'e left out info regarding the dimensions, also let me know! (I'm currently learning about tyres!)

iirc does'nt the mk4 use 205/55/16

Should be able to pick some up for about $100 brandnew if you shop around.

Remember the tyre is the bit that touches the ground so dont skimp.

yeh the wheels currently have 205/55's on them but they look ridic, so i want to get the profile down as theyre jumping on my vr6

You would probably be best to go for 205/45/16 to avoid having to recalibraite your spedo, these match pretty close to the stock diameter
