VIC Mk1 Golf/ Scirocco Front Seat Belts

Needing a set of front seat belts and mounts for my MK1 Scirocco for a road worthy. I currently have the UK version fitted that wont pass because they are not ADR approved.
Any one got a set lying around that are still in good condition and working order that are ADR approved?

Hi David,

you can get brand new "generic" seat belts through bursons, repco etc. in various styles, so you should be able to get the floor/seat mounted base as well. Of course these are ADR approved and would actually work.

On a side note, does your scirocco have a letter exepmting it from cetrain ADR rules? (Was yours one of the first 6 brought in by VW for testing?)

Thanks Jarrad mine is older than those original 6 and comes with twin wippers (very rare) brought it over from NZ a couple of years ago so doubt there would be any ADR exemptions for it.
Can get new MK1 golf ones from the UK for around $60 but not ADR approved grrrrrrrrr.
Fingers X that some has got a set.
