about to pull mine out to upgrade. silly question but how do i know if it's 8? I see little tweeter style speakers in the back as well as larger ones so I assume that means 8.......

RCD 500 That's the single disc one right? I have one from my 2006 Polo GTI. That runs tweeters/8 speakers all up. Got the code and it's on the shelf. Live in Narangba, work at the airport.

RCD500, 6 disc, non MP3. With code in good condition. Not sure that the speaker config is particular to the HU - pretty sure the GTi it came out of is either 8 or 10 speaker.

Located in Upper Mount Gravatt - $50 and it's yours (think I even have the manual)

Guys thanks for all the responses . Im going to hold out for a RCD-500 6cd mp3 version as pictured in this thread. I need one in mint condition with no marks or dents around edges etc. Code also required. will pay good money for one . im in brisbane by the way , cheers
