  • NSW WTB : Mk1 Golf

Hey chaps, thought id put this up aswell as creeping on the for sale section. I am thinking about getting a Mk1 Golf as I will be putting my beetle on the market shortly. I am mainly after somthing that has NSW rego and is driving as I dont have a daily right now. would prefer somthing that has minor work like coil overs and wheels and i am not fussed on 2 or 4 door, also dont care for paint condition or minor rust.

If anyone has any leads holla at me ! alternatively i will consider QLD and VIC cars but will need a NSW guy to help me out with rego !

    Cheers
    Andrew.

If you want an old school VW as daily, I'd say Mk2 is more practical.

There are 2 decent Mk2 in for sale section atm.

I think what he means is that Mk2's are more comfortable, refined and better suited for everyday use compared to a mk1..
But mk1's are a tad cooler

Mk5's are much more comfortable and refined, but that doesn't make them a mk1!

cool not necessary be daily use, may be i am old.

I like Mk1, I owned one, I'll owner another one. but not for my daily. Agree with stiggy_21, Mk2 is a bit more comfort that's y its my preferred daily, but it's still cool.

                          Good luck with Mk1 hunting.
