    MK2 1990 + ABF

    • The fuel injector rail on ours has an odd connector into the ex Toledeo ABF 1995 plastic Fuel rail. Can't find one anywhere and Im about to stop searching as they are all old posts. It's a female socket into the fuel rail and a silly clip on male fitting that seems to break on the fuel line. Any suggestions recommendations appreciated.
    • Front brake assembly has a plastic bush on the top bolt and it's shagged.
    • Silicon door trim inserts, and GTI door trims. I have three of four, will let you know which one/ones I need if you have any as I think some may have broken rear mounts for the clips.
    • I need a heater radiator... what's new huh!
    • Mk2 Bumpers front and rear, the last own painted ours.
    • Lower Fog lights for MK2 Big bumper
    • Window seals for a 4DR... wishful thinking huh!?

    Cheers

All those abf fuel line connectors I've seen have been broken.

The part number is 037133992C Try VW to see if they can get one in otherwise try overseas SEAT dealers.

The brake bush is a service item a kit is available.

Best to buy a new heater core, not something you want to replace too often.

Thanks a lot for the info, just returned from Autoboarn with $500 of panel beating and spray kit... Time to get serious with getting the MK2 cleaned up but first on with the guard rolling, the rear end rubs the tyres with the KONI STR kit.

Alternate option - For Fuel rail connector

Would it be wiser if I tapped in a more conventional fitting?

I had a quick look at the aluminium Speedflow connectors at autobarn and I'm liking what I see.

You cold probably tap in a brass barb. I'd check out Enzed or Pirtek rather than Autobarn though.

Likewise withthe panel supplies, try and find a specialist automotive paint and panel supplies place near you and build a relationship. It'll be heaps cheaper and you'll get better advice.
