I have one, came out of our April delivered 2012 Polo GTI. Was replaced by an RNS510.

Can help with coding if required too.

Is $300 the going rate for these?

I recently sold mine for $300 a few weeks ago. Definitely the going rate for these if you ask me. Make sure you supply the radio code to the buyer otherwise the unit is useless because VW sometimes will give you a hard time in giving you the radio code if you ask for security purposes of course.
