    VIC WANTED: Springs for MK5 2.0 TDI! Also after help :/

    looking to lower my TDI.

    NO cut springs
    looking for pictures of the drop of the springs as im not 100% sure how much i want to drop. would love to sit on the tyre but if im going to scrap of speed humps then i dont want to. (will have a baby and sometimes one small adult in the back.

    Would love it in vic but dont mind interstate.

    as for the help that just for heights so i know what sort of height id like to drop and experience with scaping.

      i had eibarch sportline
      bout a 40mm drop
      never scraped with 18/225 on it.
      handled nicely however shocks did suffer over time, i did do 50xxx on them though.

      why not get fk streetlines, similar ride, quite comfortable if you dont go too low.
      Scirocco R, APR 2+,VWR BBK,HP, QUAIFE, FORGE, VWR 18x9.

          What was the ride like on both of these? Love the height force exactly what I want nice drop but not to much

            Yeah. To be honest. I'm looking at moving onto some KW coilovers. Stock shocks hate lowered springs. I now get scrapes as I've changed from a 19x8 to 19x8.5. I'm running 235/35/19. Next time I will go for either a 225 or 215 and that should take care of it.

            If you prefer to use shocks with springs, I would invest in getting some Koni yellows with dampening control which are designed for lowered springs. Hope this helps.

              Yeh so is the ride any good tho? Or bit harsh? Bumpy? Stiff? Stock feeling? I would be getting shocks once cash improves I was looking at bilstiens are they're shocks any good?

                And for the 19s are they legal or is 18 the limit? Can't remember

                  Ride is going to be stiffer with any lowered springs. Over potholes, eeeek. I was going to go for these shocks before going down the coil over path.

                    Yeh figured that, I really want to go for a ride in a car with coilovers because i would love to have some for the adjustability but can't have a ****ty ride...
