  • VIC 16" 5x100 wheels

    hey.

i'm looking for some wheels for my vr6, quite a bit too much curb damage on my stockies and i think it's time for a change.
preferably 16" and i heard the only oem ones available are polo gti wheels, early tt's and audi s8's?

    text me on 0412269092,

    thanks,
    den.

I might part with my 5x100 16" BBS RS771's that are in perfect condition. 2 Piece, powder coated white faces and mirror polished lips and nice clean bolts too. Genuine BBS imported from Europe - only other set I know of in Australia is another set I imported for a friend. Would be looking for $1000 with tyres - continentals 205-45-16 with probably 4mms all round? There's a pic of the wheels on the first page of my build thread...they look mint on a VR6 too.

Can't think of a colour that white wheels don't suit, but okay each to their own

Cool man - PM me where you live and I might be able to sort out delivery and time frame. Only selling because they won't clear the Brembo BBK I'm about to install - gotta go to 17" with an offset of about 25mm to be sure I'll clear the calipers. They are truely beautiful wheels, could do with a better tyre fitment ((195/40s would look mint) when the continentals wear out, but I'm throwing them in for free pretty much.

offset has nothing to do with it clearing the brakes... just a heads up

I thought it did, because then the wheel face or spokes are closer to the caliper - so ET 43 on my current wheels wouldn't fit, I heard ET35 or less...so I'm gonna run my new wheels at ET28 all round (25mm adapters) to make sure I clear. I'm not worried about the size of the wheel, more the distance of the back of the wheel to the caliper.

nope, comes down to the design of the wheel.
so if you have a 6.5et43 that wont clear by 5mm or so, and you run a 10mm spacer making it 6.5et33, yes it might clear. (same wheel)
but then you might buy a different wheel with the specs 6.5et25, wont necessarily mean it'll clear...
