Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • NSW Wtb: exhaust 02 spacer

I'm looking for a 2nd hand O2 spacer, I'm assuming someone who had one which is now not required due to being coded out would be ideal.

To be used on 1.8t setup if that makes a difference?

    Let me know...

It is not a stock part, it is a aftermarket part for moving the o2 sesor after the CAT out of the exhaust flow so it does not throw codes with a hi-flow cat.

Thanks. Had seen a few, given there are likely a few floating around I thought Id sus out here first.

Are there many variants? is the 18mm ones standard for VW?

I theoretically start a new jobby on Monday, so some time this year (hopefully) I'll be ready for you...

          Can I come?

They are all the same threads guys, but get an angled one, as the straight ones can protrude into the floorpan and not fit at all!
