VIC Wanted to Buy - Mk1 Golf/Scirocco K-Bar and upper stress bar

Hi all,

I would like a 4 point lower stress bar (also known as a K-bar). I believe these did come standard on some cabbies and sciroccos, but would happily consider an aftermarket one.

Also wanting an upper stress bar for a Mk1 golf.

It is 4 point similar to the one the 16V Scirocco came with. The tin top mk1 is much tougher than the soggy paper cup cabrio.

This and a strut brace would be sufficient. I had them on a few MK1 GTIs in the UK that I used on the road and track.

Strut brace,Wiechers,Golf1/Scir1&2, Front lower steel -- WC411W513001 -- Volkswagen part from VW Heritage

You got to drill two extra holes to fit this bar but its worth it as its strongest design I have seen for a "single" lower bar. I have one now on my Scirocco and the change in handling was unbelievable.
