Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    NSW WTB MK1 suspension

    Not sure if I want coilovers or spring/shock combo
    the engine is standard so no need for any performance parts, I mainly want a smooth ride because its my daily but an improvement in handling would be nice

    saw some hot tuning coilovers on ebay just before for a mk1 about $350 i think. they are low budget but do the job i have some in mine
