Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    WA mk1 strutbrace/swaybars

    On the search for any braces and sway bars to firm up the mk1 shell, not really interested in anything chrome and blingy but more the older functional peices that don't look too out of place.

    anything I can find in W.A is a bonus but let me know what you have!

    I have an original anti roll bar that needs straightening on one side but nothing major you can have for free? I'm in Ballajura

      As the mk1 doesnt have a proper subframe in the front the best bang for buck brace is the one that ties in the lower control arms.

      We carry the following unit in stock although if you are a bit of a DIYer its not too hard to fab something up from scratch.
