NSW MK5 R32 Manual

Hi all,

Looking for a manual R32, seems majority in the FS section are DSG. Located in Sydney but willing to look interstate. 5 OR 3 dr, either way. KM's must be below 50 or 60k. Colour I am open to, blue would be nice though. Budget of $30 - 35k (is that realistic?). Anyone know of any? I've looked on carsales and have enquired to some, but looking to see whats available in this community.

That is a reasonable price range but I would be expecting up the height end if you want something that isn't abused... I got my 2008 5dr manual from a stealership for 36200 with 49000kms on the clock.

Looks good and VERY reasonably priced. The only way you can tell if it has been trashed is to have a look at it.. Start it with the bonnet open and listen... Take it for a drive and listen and feel. I find that the gearbox needs to warm up a bit to allow slick gear changes otherwise it can be a bit clunky. Also check the exhaust prior to start up to see if the flapper mod has been done which can indicate what type of owner the person is... Ie enthusiast or someone who just got the car... I would say enthusiasts are more ikely to drive the car hard but that's my opinion only.
