Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    VIC WTB Polo GTI (6R) Stock Intake Pipe (6R0 129 684 A)

    Hi guys,

    I'm looking for the Polo GTI stock intake pipe. If anyone here has installed an aftermarket intake pipe and is looking to offload their stock pipe (or knows where I can get one - like a VW stockist), please drop me a PM.

    The Intake Pipe should have this part number showing: 6R0 129 684 A.

    It connect the air filter box to the rest of the engine. Here's an example that I've highlighted with a red outline:



    Thanks. And the reason why I put VIC in the title is because a friend of mine will be able to ship the intake to Malaysia (for me).

    Get your friend to contact a few VW dealerships like Burwin, Barloworld, Bayford etc, get the prices for you and then you can pick. Someone on here might have one laying around but chances are probably slim...
